We, the workers of JFK8, are owed a union contract, and we’re done waiting. It’s been over two years since we won our historic union certification in 2022, sparking a nationwide movement that continues to grow. But Amazon’s greed and exploitation haven’t let up, and neither will we. We’re taking this fight all the way to the finish line.
Amazon has refused to meet its legal obligation to negotiate a contract with the workers of JFK8. This constitutes an Unfair Labor Practice (ULP) and is a violation of the National Labor Relations Act. They’ve ignored our demands for a living wage, safer working conditions, job security, and basic dignity and respect. We know what we deserve—and we’re going to win it all.
Every Peak season, Amazon rakes in millions off our backs. Every year, we’re forced into mandatory overtime, pushed to meet impossible quotas, and put at increased risk for life-altering injuries.
Enough is enough. It's time for Amazon to recognize our union, meet us at the bargaining table and negotiate in good faith.
As workers, strikes are our most powerful tool. We’re taking action to hit Amazon where it hurts: their bottom line. Only our collective power—and our ability to shut down the whole operation—will bring Amazon to the bargaining table.
By filling out this form, you are pledging to stand with your fellow workers at JFK8 this Peak and take action to demand the union contract we deserve—for fair wages, safe working conditions, job security, and dignity on the job.
Over 700 of your coworkers at JFK8 have already pledged to strike, an incredible milestone that shows our strength and determination. But we’re not stopping there. Our next goal is to secure pledges from 1,000 workers—about 20% of the JFK8 workforce. Reaching this number will show Amazon just how serious we are about winning this fight.
If you haven’t signed a strike pledge yet, now is the time to take a stand. Every pledge adds to our collective power and brings us closer to the union contract we’ve been fighting for.
